About the moon

In the beginning, an Astronaut stood with his feet firmly on the ground staring up at the sky. For days he stood there contemplating how to get out there amongst the stars. After awhile, a couple of his Astronaut buddies came to his side to see what all the fuss was about. I want to be out there amongst the stars. Overrated. I would be inclined to agree. How so?
What's so great about the stars? Sure, everyone stares and waits and watches. But look how far away they are. Never getting to see what their light brings. I'd much rather be out in orbit.  Yes. Just outside the sphere floating. Being apart. Say... right near the moon. 
Why the moon?
 I don't know, man. He looks like he's having a good time chilling out there with the homies.
